It may seem like only yesterday since the last Big Deal Days event, but Amazon has already announced its next bumper sale.

While the most recent Prime Big Deal Days sale was a week-long event back in July, the upcoming event is just a 48-hour affair, starting from 7th October to 8th October 2025.

So, what can we expect from the Prime Big Deal Days sale? Should you hold off from making certain big purchases until then? Or, considering Black Friday is at the end of November, is it worth waiting even longer to shop?

To help you prepare, we answer your most burning questions on Amazon Prime Big Deal Days below.

When is Prime Big Deal Days?

The next Amazon Prime Big Deal Days will begin at 00:01 on the 7th October and will end promptly at 23:59 by the 8th October 2025. This means you have just two days to search for bargains and shop.

The sale will take place globally, including the UK, US, certain countries in Europe including Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, alongside Australia, Canada, Japan and more. Plus, for the first time ever, Amazon will extend Prime Big Deal Days to Colombia, Ireland and Mexico too.

Do I need to subscribe to Prime to get the deals?

Yes, you do need to be a Prime member in order to access the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days event. If you aren’t a Prime member, nor have you had a membership in the last 12-months, then you will likely be eligible for a free trial.

We’ve put together a guide on how to sign up for Amazon Prime which should tell you whether or not you can nab a free trial. Otherwise, a Prime membership costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year and offers you free and even same-day delivery on eligible orders, access to Prime Video and Prime Music, plus much more.

If, however, you’re aged 18-22 or a student, then you benefit from Prime for just £4.49 a month or £47.49 a year.
