Apple’s 2025 product lineup might be complete, but there’s a lot in the works for the year ahead. Here are five new Apple products rumored to debut in 2026 that I’m especially excited for.
Foldable iPhone

I’ve been very happy with my new iPhone Air, but next year Apple is launching another brand new model that will feel more drastically “new” in every way.
The long-rumored foldable iPhone is coming next fall. It may be called the iPhone Fold, though I’m starting to lean more toward ‘iPhone Ultra.’
Apple’s ultra-premium foldable will be able to offer both iPhone and iPad-like experiences in a single device. It’s said to resemble two iPhone Airs side by side when unfolded—but even much thinner.
More than the general specs of the foldable, this new iPhone is at the top of my 2026 wish list because it represents something altogether new for Apple.
iPhones grow more powerful every year, and get bigger screens and thinner (or thicker) frames. But this two-in-one type device is something totally unique, and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.
HomePod Touch / HomePad

Based on Bloomberg’s extensive reporting, Apple was originally planning to launch a new HomePod with a screen this past March.
Due to the product’s reliance on Siri’s delayed AI features, however, it’s been pushed into early 2026.
This ’HomePod Touch’ product, or ‘HomePad’ as it’s also been called, is exactly the kind of home device I’ve been wanting from Apple.
I love the audio quality of existing HomePods, but adding a screen that can show my photos, the weather, and other glanceable data sounds great.
As competing products like Amazon’s Echo Show dilute the user experience with ads, I’m all the more eager for a first-party solution.
Apple Glasses

Apple’s next major wearable product is rumored to be unveiled in 2026, though it might not ship right away.
Apple Glasses will pair with the iPhone, similar to how the Apple Watch works today. It will use built-in cameras to capture photos and videos, but also, very importantly, to power Apple Intelligence capabilities.
You’ll be able to control the device primarily via voice with the upgraded Siri. And just like Apple Watch, it’s expected that Apple will offer a wide variety of fashionable styles for users.
I was initially a bit skeptical of this product category, but largely due to the rise of AI, I’m now very eager to see what Apple’s take on an AI-infused glasses product will be.
Redesigned M6 MacBook Pro

I’m not a heavy Mac user, since for a full decade the iPad Pro has been my primary computer. Nonetheless, rumors about the M6 MacBook Pro have me more excited than I have been in years for a new Mac.
The M6 MacBook Pro is expected to include several major upgrades:
- All-new design that’s thinner and lighter
- OLED display with no notch
- Touch screen
- M6 chip with 2nm process for especially big gains
- and possibly a C2 cellular modem
Most years, a new Mac might have one or two of these upgrades. But all five changes at once make this new model very tempting, even for a longtime iPad user like me.
Apple Home security camera

Compared to the other products listed above, a security camera may seem like an odd addition. Hear me out.
For as long as HomeKit has existed, Apple has let third-party companies make all of the accessories that power a smart home. The problem is, quality and reliability with third-party accessories varies wildly.
I’ve long wished that Apple would take the smart home more seriously with its own first-party accessories, and rumors indicate that’s finally happening next year.
No longer will Apple’s Home products be limited to Apple TV and HomePod. Rather, the company is reportedly preparing to debut a security camera next year. A Face ID-equipped video doorbell might be coming too.
Bloomberg reports on Apple’s security camera:
The device has facial recognition and infrared sensors to determine who is in a room. Apple believes users will place cameras throughout their home to help with automation. That could mean turning lights off when someone leaves a room or automatically playing music liked by a particular family member.
While I do expect to buy Apple’s security camera, what makes me more excited than the product itself is what it represents: Apple entering the first-party home accessory market. Here’s hoping the security camera is just the start of an all-new Apple Home experience.
