APPLE is giving away two sets of fitness freebies this month – just in time for the January health kick.
Normally you’d have to pay as much as £120 a year to unlock these goodies.
It’s all linked to Apple Fitness+, which is a subscription service with a vast catalogue of workout videos led by personal trainers to help you get fit.
There are more than 4,000 workouts on the app including HIIT (high intensity interval training), dance, yoga and more.
Normally you’d pay £9.99/$9.99 a month for the service, which works out at just shy of £120/$120.
But Apple is currently running a Fitness+ New Year promotion that gets you a two-week free trial, which you can find in the Apple Fitness app.

That’s up from the usual seven-day free trial, so you’re getting an extra week without charge – landing at the perfect time.
This trial is available even if you’d previously used Fitness+, making it particularly special.
But the second freebie might be even better.
Every month, you can now claim a rolling monthly sample of workouts.

You don’t need to pay for them, and they’ll only appear if you don’t currently have an active Fitness+ membership.
Just go to the Fitness+ tab on the Apple Fitness app, then scroll to the bottom to find the Free Monthly Sampler section.
Apple’s notice reads: “Try these episodes one time – no trial or subscription needed.”
The sampler should include a selection of different class types.
You’ll usually get five, which means you can effectively claim a free workout for each week of the month, helping you get into better shape.
APPLE FITNESS+ BONUS UPGRADES
That’s not the only good news for Apple Fitness+ fans either.
TIPS FOR STAYING CONSISTENT
Apple Fitness+ trainer Kim Ngo tells The Sun the best way to stay consistent with exercise is finding an activity you find fun and exciting.
She says: “An example for me would be dancing. I love to put a dance workout on, and I’m not a dancer.
“Don’t put me on a dance floor and put me in front of people – but if you put me on a dance workout, I’ll get down in my living room and shake my hips with my toddler running around and it’s the most fun ever!”
Fellow trainer Cory Wharton-Malcolm says setting up a plan via Apple Fitness+ also helps.
Cory says: “You wake up, it gives you a little nudge – ‘Don’t forget, you’ve got this workout today’.
“And it’s not pressure, it’s more of a reminder. That’s a great way to stay consistent.”
Apple has announced loads of new content coming in 2026.
There are five new workouts featuring music from KAROL G, and three workouts joining the Bad Bunny Artist Spotlight series from February 2.
The Time to Walk series, which is almost like a podcast where famous guests share personal stories, pics and songs, also adds new episodes, including from Penn Badgley, Mel B, and Michelle Monaghan.
And there’s a new Strength Basics in 3 Weeks program that kicks off on January 12.
It’s worth noting that you can get three months of Apple Fitness+ for free if you’ve recently bought a qualifying Apple gadget.
That includes a new Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, or Apple TV.
By claiming it, you’ll be saving £29.97/$29.97, which is nothing to sniff at.
You’ll find it in the Fitness app within the first three months after setting up your device.
Just keep in mind that the plan will renew at its usual full price once the free trial is over.
