Apple News+ is regularly updated to support new features and add new publications, and the latest is a big one: The Washington Post is now included at no additional cost.
The Washington Post is the latest addition to Apple News+ subscription
When Apple News+ first launched in 2019, Apple’s marketing emphasized its digital magazine library.
Since then, a lot has changed.
Recently Apple has not only grown the list of publications included in News+, but also expanded the service in two key areas: Games and Food.
News+ offers a growing catalog of daily puzzle games like the recent Emoji game. Plus, earlier this year it added a library of tens of thousands of food recipes alongside a clever cooking feature.

In its latest addition, Apple News+ has a major new publication on board: The Washington Post.
WaPo joins long-time News+ publications like The Wall Street Journal and Los Angeles Times, and more recent additions like The Athletic and The Verge.
The Washington Post was recently added to Apple’s list of publications included in News+, and a pop-up inside the News app alerted subscribers to the new benefit.
Apple News+ is available as a standalone subscription for $12.99/month, or as part of the Apple One Premier plan that costs $37.95/month.
