Artificial intelligence will be in the spotlight at Rowan Chamber’s Power in Partnership Breakfast in November

Artificial intelligence is changing the world, and the Rowan Chamber’s next Power in Partnership (PIP) breakfast will help you understand how. Join us on Thursday at 7:30 am in the room at Trinity Oaks (728 Klumac Road) for a presentation by Dr. Lane Freeman, a nationally recognized expert in AI and education. This month’s program is sponsored by Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
Freeman is state director of online learning for the North Carolina Community College System. He has trained thousands of teachers and staff leaders in responsible AI integration, immersive learning, and workforce-aligned program design. With nearly 25 years of experience in K-12 and higher education, Freeman brings strategies to help organizations embrace AI purposefully, ethically and impactfully.
The Power in Partnership Breakfast Series offers participants the opportunity to enjoy breakfast while networking, learning from industry leaders and discussing the latest trends and challenges facing the community. The 2025-26 PIP season features a lineup of speakers including top elected officials and business leaders from North Carolina. The upcoming PIP breakfast dates are as follows: December 18, January 15, February 19, March 19, April 16 and May 21.
