Bang & Olufsen is taking a bold new step into sustainable luxury with the launch of Reloved: a curated online platform of certified pre-owned and refurbished products.
The initiative gives a second life to the brand’s timeless speakers and sound systems, blending the company’s century-long design heritage with modern circular economy principles.
Reloved lets customers purchase authenticated, refurbished Bang & Olufsen originals, products inspected, restored, and certified to meet the company’s high standards. Each item comes graded by condition which are Mint, Excellent, or Good and is backed by up to a three-year warranty to give buyers peace of mind.
“Reloved is the continuation of a story that began a century ago – a belief that design and sound should endure,” Dorte Vestergaard, Head of Reloved at Bang & Olufsen, says. “This programme allows us to preserve that heritage by refurbishing our original pieces and helping them find new homes, ready to be loved again.”
The first Reloved collection features five handpicked classics: Beoplay P2, Beoplay A2, Beosound Edge, Beosound 3000, and Beogram 2000. Each model was selected with consideration for its place in the modern audio industry, as well as the readiness of authentic spare parts. Moving forward, certified Reloved drops will occur monthly, the next being November 12.
Initially available across the EU, UK, Norway, and Switzerland, the Reloved programme will expand to more regions in 2026. Customers can now browse and purchase certified pre-owned units directly from Bang & Olufsen’s website.
Reloved also marks a new chapter in the extensive repair and refurbishment culture at Bang & Olufsen dating back to the 1960s. It also shows that great sound, like great craftsmanship, never really goes out of style.
