Investigators are probing a tip-off that the athlete, 34, received a package from Thailand, per CBS News.

He was arrested at the Soekarno-Hatta airport on May 7.

Shaw reportedly shouted “help, help” as he was being handcuffed, according to footage circulating on social media.

Cops have claimed that Shaw said he wanted to share the drug-infused candies with his teammates, according to local media.

Shaw could face life in prison or be sentenced to the death penalty if he’s convicted.

Shaw previously played college basketball at Oklahoma State and Utah State.

During his senior year at Utah State, he averaged around 14 points per game.

He was drafted by the Santa Cruz Warriors in the 2015 NBA Developmental League draft.

He was playing in the Indonesian basketball league and has since been suspended.

“We don’t tolerate players, administrators, or anyone in the field involved in drugs,” officials said.

“There is no room for drug users in the basketball world.”
