It’s a time when prices for gaming consoles seem to be on the rise instead of descreasing. If you’ve been saving up for a new gaming purchase, there are discounts to be had in these Black Friday gaming deals.

PlayStation 5
Get the PS5 Digital for just £289 at Argos
The PS5 Digital has dropped to its lowest price ever at Argos, making it a spectacular Black Friday bargain.

There are a few deals going for the PS5 during the Black Friday sales, a sign of Sony’s confidence (and lead) in its decades long battle with Xbox.
At Argos, the PS5 Digital is down to £289.99, with a £140 sliced off the asking price. On Amazon US, the price for the digital console is $449.99, the same as the version with a disc drive.
With this being the digital version of the console, it comes sans disc drive. It only features 825GB of storage built-in, so you’ll want to keep a close eye on filling up that storage considering the size of game installs.
Save £100 on the PS5 Slim at Amazon
Amazon has slashed the price of the mid-cycle PS5 Slim, offering a great way to upgrade to the latest generation of consoles on the cheap.

The standard PS5 is also a recipient of a discount, not quite as big as the PS5 Digital version but significant savings nontheless.
This deal can be found over at Amazon, and it saves £100 on the RRP, ensuring you get the PS5 for £379.99. Over in the US, the price for the PS5 on Amazon is $449.99.

Sony’s most expensive gaming console is the PS5 Pro, which offers enhanced performance of the standard PS5 and PS5 Slim models. If you want to go all out in terms of performance, this is the console to get.
During the Black Friday sales, the PS5 Pro has had £110 off the price, bringing it to £589.99. In the US it’s had a similar reduction, coming down from $649.99 to $549.99.
Nintendo Switch 2
Save on a Nintendo Switch 2 Console

We don’t expect there to be too many deals for the Nintendo Switch 2 given that it launched just a few months ago, and that Nintendo has never really seen fit to reduce the price by much.
So, for the time being, you’ll have to make do with this 3% reduction in price on Amazon that brings the Switch 2 down from £395 to £385. In the US, the Switch 2 hasn’t budged in price whatsoever.
You know what you’re getting with the Switch 2. It’s better in just about every way compared to the original, with a better screen, smarter build quality and a faster processor. If you’ve been holding off to wait for even the slightest drop in price, here is that price cut.
Xbox Series consoles
Get an Xbox Series X console for less

Xbox hasn’t had the best of years with prices going up instead of going down. If you haven’t got hold of the Xbox Series X console, there’s a small reduction to be had with this deal.
While not technically a Black Friday promotion, over at Amazon, the Xbox Series X has had a 6% discount, bringing it down to £469.99. In the US, it’s still a rather expensive $648.
