IFA, or Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin, is one of Europe’s top tech shows and often marks the start of the busy tech season ahead. As always, the show was packed with some of the coolest tech we’ve seen, from new smartphones, tablets, smart home gadgets, laptops, and wearables.

Pocket-lint was on the ground at IFA 2025 to see it all in action, and we’ve rounded up the gadgets that truly stood out. These are our award winners from IFA 2025.

1

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE

Slimmer design paired with a bigger battery for daily use

Samsung Galaxy S25 FE with IFA 2025 award badge

Ever since the launch of the Galaxy S20 FE in 2020, Samsung has released a Fan Edition of its flagship smartphone series, offering an affordable entry point into the company’s flagship experience. Like clockwork, the company at this year’s IFA introduced the new Samsung Galaxy S25 FE.

The Galaxy S25 FE carries a similar design language as the flagship models, with a plain back and three camera cutouts on the rear top left. Interestingly, Samsung has reduced the device’s thickness.

While the Galaxy S24 FE was 8 mm thick, Samsung has given the Galaxy S25 FE an “S25 Edge treatment” and trimmed the thickness to just 0.3-inches (7.4mm), making it easier to hold for longer durations. Samsung has also dropped the weight from 7.5oz (213g) on the previous generation to just 6.7oz (190g) on the Galaxy S25 FE.

Beyond build upgrades, there’s a familiar 6.7-inch AMOLED display upfront with a triple-camera setup on the back. Despite the reduced thickness, you’ll find a larger 4,900 mAh battery inside, up from 4,700 mAh on the Galaxy S24 FE, with the same 45W fast charging as the top-end Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The Galaxy S25 FE starts at $649 in the US and is now available to order. It comes in four colors: Jetblack, navy, icyblue, and white.

2

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

Upgraded DeX makes this tablet feel more like a PC replacement

Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra with IFA 2025 award badge

Alongside the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung also introduced its latest flagship Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra at IFA 2025. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra comes with a big 14.6-inch AMOLED display, but what’s new this time is that Samsung has trimmed the notch a bit.

Not only that, the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is slimmer and lighter than last year’s Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. Despite the slimness, Samsung has managed to pack a larger 11,600 mAh battery in the Tab S11 Ultra.

Under the hood, the Tab S11 Ultra is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Samsung has also upgraded the DeX desktop mode, allowing for true laptop-like multitasking.

There are also upgrades to the S Pen with a new hexagonal shape, although Samsung has removed the Bluetooth connectivity, just like it did on the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is available starting today for $1,200.

Fancy a built-in projector with your phone? How about a 20,500mAh battery to go with it? DOOGEE’s latest rugged Android phone, the V Max Play, boasts a lot of big specs, but the coolest one is the one you may end up using the most, particularly if you’re outdoorsy: a 480p projector that puts out anything you can think of, anywhere with a hard surface.

You also get a super-loud 130dB speaker and a 1200-lumen camping light, making the phone perfect for those camping trips or hikes that end off the beaten path.

The rest of the phone is pretty great, too: a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, a 200MP camera, and Android 15 with full Google support.

For a limited time, you can get $100 off the $769.99 asking price, so pre-order the DOOGEE V Max Play when it goes on sale September 15. It ships in early October.

Lenovo Yoga Tab

A versatile tablet that still nails portability and function

Lenovo Yoga Tab with IFA award badge

Samsung wasn’t the only one to showcase new tablets at IFA 2025. Alongside its extensive PC and laptop lineup, Lenovo unveiled its new Yoga Tab. Lenovo says the Yoga Tab is built with “creativity, productivity and mobility” in mind.

The tablet features a big 11.1-inch display with 144Hz refresh and AI SuperRes upscaling. To complete the multimedia powerhouse, it carries a quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos sound.

Under the hood, the Yoga Tab runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Lenovo has also packed in several “hybrid AI” solutions to help generate text, refine ideas, or translate information.

Build-wise, the Lenovo Yoga Tab features an all-metal unibody design with a silicon-carbon battery underneath, providing up to 12 hours of life on a single charge. Lenovo says the Yoga Tab ships with Adobe Creative Suite and Perplexity Pro.

5

Lenovo Legion Go 2

Handheld gaming refined with more power and an improved design

Hands-on with the Lenovo Legion Go 2

Alongside the Yoga Tab, Lenovo also unveiled its new gaming handheld, the Legion Go 2, at IFA 2025. The Legion Go 2 features an 8.8-inch OLED display with a variable 30Hz–144Hz refresh rate. It’s powered by the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processor and comes with up to 32GB RAM.

The handheld offers up to 2TB internal storage plus a microSD slot for extending it up to 2TB more. The biggest upgrade is the battery: the Legion Go 2 packs a larger 74Whr unit, over 50% higher in capacity than the previous generation Legion Go.

Other quality-of-life improvements include a fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button, three user-programmable buttons, and two detachable controllers with a smoother feel and smarter layout.

6

Belkin BoostCharge Retractable Car Charger

Smart cable management meets reliable fast charging

Belkin BoostCharge retractable car charger with IFA Award badge

Belkin makes some of the best smartphone accessories, and at IFA 2025, the company showcased its new car charger with a retractable USB-C cable. As the name suggests, this charger comes with a 75cm retractable USB-C cable that goes back in when not being used.

The retractable USB-C cable delivers up to 60W of power, enough for charging not only smartphones but laptops as well. In addition, this BoostCharge charger offers an extra USB-C and USB-A port, so you can plug in up to three devices at once.

The BoostCharge Retractable Car Charger is priced at €35 in Europe and will be available for $70 in the US.

7

Scosche FoundIT Car Charger

Built-in Apple Find My and Google Find Hub make it stand out

Another car accessory that caught our attention at IFA 2025 was Scosche’s FountIT car charger. While it doesn’t have a retractable USB-C cable, this charger has its own unique proposition.

Alongside being a regular car charger with a 20W USB-C port and a 12W USB-A port, it also features a locating function that lets you easily find your car. So even in case of theft, the charger sits in your car looking normal, but you’ll still see its location on the map.

The charger itself has a three-month battery life and supports Apple Find My integration as well as Google Find Hub. The Scosche FountIT car charger is priced at $30 in the US.

Acer Swift Air 16 laptop

A slim Copilot+ laptop that balances power and portability

Acer Swift 16 Air laptop with IFA award badge

Building on last year’s IFA success, Acer announced new PCs, laptops, and peripherals at IFA 2025. Of all the products the company showcased, the one that stood out most was the new Swift Air 16 laptop.

The Acer Swift Air 16 is a direct MacBook Air competitor designed for professionals who want power and portability for on-the-go computing. It features up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 processor with a magnesium-aluminum build, keeping the weight under 2.2lb (1kg).

It also comes with a large 16-inch AMOLED display and a host of I/O ports, including two USB-C, USB-A, and HDMI.

The Swift Air 16 is a Copilot+ certified laptop, meaning you get access to the latest Windows AI features like Recall, Click to Do, and improved search. Acer says the Swift Air 16 will be available starting at €999 later this year.

9

A rugged portable speaker designed for active lifestyles

JBL Grip with the IFA 2025 award badge JBL

At IFA 2025, JBL expanded its popular portable speaker lineup with the new JBL Grip. Designed for adventures, the JBL Grip features a compact design with an integrated rope hook and IP68 dust and water resistance, so you can carry it anywhere without worrying about durability.

It has a powerful 16W output along with features like JBL Pro Sound and AI Sound Boost. The speaker offers up to 12 hours of battery life on a single charge. Moreover, like previous JBL speakers, you can pair two for stereo sound, and this model even supports multiple speakers with Auracast.

JBL Grip will be available for $100 starting September 28, 2025. It comes in six colors: black, white, purple, red, blue, and camo.

10

Tecno POVA Slim 5G

Packing a battery bigger than the S25 Edge with the same thin design

Tecno Pova Slim 5G hands-on

Thin smartphones are trending right now, with Samsung recently launching the Galaxy S25 Edge and Apple reportedly set to announce the iPhone 17 Air soon. Tecno first showcased its “Slim” smartphone prototype at MWC earlier this year, and at IFA 2025, the company has revealed the final device alongside other details.

Bearing the Slim name, the Tecno POVA Slim 5G measures just 5.9mm thick. The smartphone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and 4,500 nits peak brightness, but the magic is that despite being slim, Tecno has packed a 5,160 mAh battery inside with support for 45W charging.

For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge offers only a 3,900 mAh battery and 25W charging speeds.

Under the hood, the Tecno POVA Slim 5G runs MediaTek’s Dimensity 6400 chipset, and the company has added fun ring light LEDs around the two cameras on the back. There are also AI features present here, including Google’s Circle to Search, AI writing tools, and Tecno’s own Ella AI assistant.
