BitDefender Buy Mesh Security to improve your security capabilities in email

The cybersecurity company BitDefender has confirmed the purchase of Mesh Security Limited. Simply known as MESH, it is a company providing advanced security solutions for email. Founded in 2020, it has among its investors with Elkstone and Enterprise Ireland, and has hundreds of MSP partners and thousands of customers. The terms of the transaction are unknown, as well as the amount that Bitdefender will pay per mesh.

The plans that BitDefender has for the company’s assets once the operation is closed to integrate the technology and email security capabilities of Mesh on the XDR platform (extended detection and response) of BitDefender, as well as in its MDR services (Detection and response managed services).

The purchase therefore implies that the security capabilities for MONTH email will be on the unified security platform, regulatory compliance and risk analysis Bitdefender Gravityzone.

Mesh uses a double -layer approach to protect email safety, which combines perimeter protection through a safe email catwalk with defense at the mailbox. To do this, it uses an API -based implementation. This model expands the visibility of the activity of threats in all vectors, and provides telemetry to the global threat intelligence network of Bitdefender.

This new purchase also aims to enhance the value of the global canal and MSP partners network of Bitdefender. Mesh offers an optimized centralized platform for MSP, which allows them to manage the safety of multi -user email efficiently.

Its solution offers 24/7 protection, while reducing operational overload. With an automated policy application, information on real -time threats and fluid integration with existing workflows, Mesh gives MSP the opportunity to offer effective and scalable protection to their customers.
