BSNL has rolled out a new entertainment plan for its mobile users. The government-owned telecom operator has announced the Bitv Premium Pack, which offers both live TV channels and OTT content.

Earlier this year, BSNL offered Bitv access for free as a pilot run, but now the service has been rolled out as a proper plan. The idea is to give subscribers an all-in-one solution, without the need for a separate DTH connection. What all does this new plan offer? Know all the details.

BSNL Bitv Premium Plan Price and Benefits

The new Bitv Premium Pack costs Rs 151 per month. That’s around Rs 5 a day. In return, you get:

  • Over 450 live TV channels
  • Access to 25 OTT apps like SonylogZee5, Sun NXT, ShemarooMe, Fancodeand ETV Win

BSNL is promoting this as a single entertainment pack where you don’t have to worry about multiple subscriptions. While the company hasn’t officially confirmed the validity, reports suggest it runs for 30 days.

Other Affordable Options By BSNL

If Rs 151 sounds too much, there are two budget-friendly packs as well:

  • Rs 28 pack, which is valid for 30 days and includes 7 OTT apps plus 9 complimentary ones
  • Rs 29 pack with the same validity of 30 days but with a slightly different app lineup

These are more region-specific plans, designed for users who don’t want to spend much but still want access to OTT content.

Is It Worth It?

If you’re a BSNL subscriber and want a mix of live TV and OTT at a single price, the Rs 151 pack is worth considering. It won’t give you Netflix or Prime Video, but for those who watch regional and general entertainment, it makes sense.

At the end of the day, it’s about whether you want one subscription for everything or continue juggling multiple apps. For many BSNL users, this new pack could be the simpler choice.
