Celebrate ‘Bricktember’ and Get Building With These Lego Deals at Walmart

Lego deals are a lot like Apple deals throughout the year: discounted, but not often heavily discounted. So the PCMag Deals team is always on the hunt for what we consider a quality deal on quality brands. That’s why we’re so stoked that September has been unofficially renamed to “Bricktember” at Walmart, with some solid price cuts on Lego sets (big and small) as well as some bundles from Star Wars and Marvel, and more (Minecraft, Nintendo, Technic) that will save you the big blocks, uh, bucks. Keep checking back throughout the month for more Lego deals and steals.

Lego City Deals

Lego City is often what first comes to mind when one thinks about Lego sets from their childhood or for getting kids ages 4+ into that next level of brick building. We’re talking everything from plans and cranes to space rovers and roller coasters. This 3-in-1 bundle deal includes an emergency air ambulance airplane, a construction excavator, and a fire rescue plane (with several mini-figures of course). This is a great collection starter!

Lego Star Wars Deals

Lego and Star Wars go together like R2 units in an X-Wing. We’re particularly feeling the pull of this bundle deal for Lord Vader’s iconic helmet that stands eight inches tall and the wacky-walking AT-ST with “rotating head, opening hatches, detailed cockpit, and adjustable laser cannons.” The bad guys always have the best stuff!

Speaking of all things space, did you know that Lego made bricks from meteorite dust? Now you do!

Lego Super Mario Deal

Yeah, it’s-a our favorite pixelated plumber straight out of Super Mario World. With this next-level Lego set, you’re basically building a moving diorama. Just turn one handle to make Yoshi run with Mario on his back or turn the dial behind Yoshi’s head to pop his tongue in and out. The set also includes an Action Tag for interactive experiences with other Super Mario characters (sold separately).

And don’t forget, this October will see the debut of the original Nintendo Game Boy in Lego form.

Lego Marvel Deals

This is the “big one” if you’re a Marvel stan. The Daily Bugle set includes 25 mini-figures including exclusives like Blade, Black Cat, Daredevil, Punisher and of course J. Jonah Jameson (probably asking for photos of Spider-Man). There’s four action-packed floors with removable facades so you can keep the action outside or take it inside. When is pay day again?

If you’re really into engineering and functional construction (even motorized), Lego’s Technic line has always been the place to get your brick on. This cargo spaceship sets features a retractable vertical takeoff and landing gear, rotating engines, and a self-leveling cockpit when in (play) flight. And don’t forget the mini space rover that loads into the cargo pod.
