BSNL has been on a roll and is trying its best to make a comeback. They recently launched their Quantum 5G service in Hyderabad, and now it looks like they’re trying to win back some customers with the launch of new prepaid plans.

The telecom company is offering several budget-friendly options, targeting budget-conscious users. These plans could be perfect for those who are trying to save up on their SIM recharge but still want the best performance. They come with high-speed data, free voice calling, daily SMS, and other benefits.

Here’s a full breakdown of BSNL’s best budget-friendly prepaid packs and how to order your SIM online.

The first plan starts at Rs 107 and is valid for 35 days. It gives a total of 3GB data and 200 voice minutes for calls (local, STD, and roaming). After the data limit is exhausted, speeds get reduced to 40 kbps. Once the voice or SMS limits are used up, standard charges apply at Re 1/min for local calls, Rs 1.30/min for STD, and Rs 0.80 per SMS.

The second plan is priced at Rs 141 and comes with a validity of 30 days. It offers 1.5GB of high-speed data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 200 SMS per day. There’s no rollover benefit, so once the daily limits are reached, additional usage won’t be available until the next day.

The third plan starts at Rs 147 and comes with a validity of 30 days and offers a total of 10GB of high-speed data as a one-time benefit. After the data is exhausted, speeds drop to 40 kbps. It also includes unlimited voice calls, including while roaming, making it a solid option for light data users who need reliable call benefits.

The next plan is priced at Rs 149 and is valid for 28 days and offers 1GB of high-speed data per day. It includes unlimited voice calls across local and roaming networks, along with 100 SMS per day. This plan is perfect for users who want a balanced mix of daily data and consistent calling benefits.

The last and the most expensive plan is still priced quite nominally at Rs 197. This prepaid plan comes with a total validity of 70 days. For the first 15 days, users get 2GB of high-speed data per day, along with unlimited voice calling and SMS benefits. After that, data drops to 50MB per day, and voice/SMS benefits are no longer available. It’s a good pick for the heavy users.

BSNL is also offering home delivery for new SIM cards, making the switch super convenient. Whether you’re getting a new connection or porting your number, here’s how you can do it:

  1. Visit the BSNL SIM registration portal
  2. Choose prepaid or postpaid
  3. Fill in your details:

    • Name
    • PIN code
    • Alternate mobile number
  4. Submit the form and verify via OTP
  5. A BSNL executive will reach out for KYC verification
  6. SIM card will be delivered to your doorstep (available in select cities)
