The demand for compact smartphones is making a comeback. With upcoming devices like the iPhone 16e, Samsung Galaxy S25, and Google Pixel 9a, it seems OnePlus is preparing to join the trend by launching a compact flagship of its own. Rumors have been circulating for a while now about a smaller variant of the OnePlus 13, expected to launch as the OnePlus 13T.
A recently leaked video has offered an early glimpse at the device. Unlike its predecessors, the OnePlus 13T ditches the circular camera layout for a square-shaped module located in the top-left corner of the back panel. This housing accommodates three camera sensors alongside an LED flash.
On the design front, the phone features flat edges with gently rounded corners, and introduces a physical button on the left edge which is rumored to be a new ‘Quick Key’ action button replacing the traditional alert slider. On the front, the 13T is expected to sport a 6.31-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate which is a perfect screen size for compact devices. Under the hood, the device may be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, promising flagship-level performance similar to its larger siblings.

When it comes to the camera setup, leaks point to a pair of 50MP sensors for the primary and telephoto lenses, that might be accompanied by a third ultrawide angle lens whose resolution is yet to be revealed.
To power this package, the OnePlus 13T is anticipated to pack a 6,000mAh+ battery with support for 80W fast charging. Despite the big battery, the phone is expected to weigh just 185 grams, thanks to optimised weight distribution.
The OnePlus 13T is rumored to launch in China later this month. While official pricing hasn’t been confirmed, it’s expected to be positioned as an affordable flagship, possibly priced around CNY 4,000 – 4,500. In India, this translates to a starting price between ₹47,000 and ₹53,000, though this is just an estimate, so take the Indian pricing with a pinch of salt until it is officially confirmed.
