On Monday, a total of 127 new games got the go-ahead by The National Press and Publication Administration of China (NPPA) for April, including 118 domestic games and 9 imported games. Of particular note is the game Path of Exile: Ascension, an action role-playing game developed by New Zealand developer Grinding Gear Games and operated in China by Tencent Games. The original Path of Exile, released in 2013, has a global player community numbering tens of million. In the game, players explore a dark fantasy world, battling monsters, completing quests, and customizing their characters with a vast skill and item system in an ever-evolving environment.
