On May 13, Chinese AI agent platform Manus, which aims to enable users to automate complex digital tasks, officially opened registration to the public, removing its previous invite-only system. Each user now receives a one-time bonus of 1,000 points and can complete one task daily for free (with individual tasks costing 300 points). Manus went viral on Chinese social media in March, with invite codes reportedly resold for up to RMB 100,000 ($13,900) amid surging demand. [Cailian, in Chinese]
