Press note. Cisco has presented a new network architecture designed to boost campuses, branches and industrial networks of the future. This new architecture offers operational simplicity thanks to a unified management, state -of -the -art network devices designed for AI workloads and advanced safety capabilities integrated in the network.

Cisco intends to establish a new standard so that organizations can face the exponential growth of traffic, increased cyber -linges and the need for continuous availability, in a context where they seek to take advantage of the potential of AI in the work environment.

According to the recent Cisco Networking Trends report, 95% of Spanish companies consider it necessary to update their networks so that IA and IoT initiatives are successful. Given this panorama, IT teams demand a new approach to climb operations, reduce times of inactivity and achieve new levels of efficiency and innovation.

“While the AI transforms the work, it promotes explosive growth in campus, branches and industrial networks, which is unprecedented complexity and new safety risks for IT equipment, at a time when inactivity time is more expensive than ever”highlights Jeetu Patel, president and director of products of Cisco. “With a new architecture and devices optimized for AI and agenticops, we are redefining the industry and reinventing the management and safety of networks”.

Simplified operations with unified management and agenticops

Operational complexity is one of the biggest challenges for IT teams. The Unified Cisco management platform addresses this challenge when centralizing the administration of Meraki and Catalyst devices, as well as the support for wireless, switching, routing and industrial networks of the latest generation, all on a single platform compatible with deployments in the cloud, local or hybrid.

This platform is also distinguished by the integration of Thundeyes Assurance, which now extends to mobile terminals and industrial IoT, providing deeper and deeper visibility on business networks and Microsoft Azure. The new integration between Thousandeyes and Splunk provides real -time information from the network to the application. This multilevel approach offers a guarantee and capacity for integral observation both on its own infrastructure and third parties, helping to guarantee constant performance and operational resilience.

Promoting the platform is agenticops, the Cisco approach based on AI to operate modern Ti, which converts telemetry into real time, automation and expert knowledge in intelligent actions from end to extreme, always under the control of IT equipment. Agenticops capacities are based on the new Deep Network Model, a specific Net -trained Net model with decades of Cisco experience, from content at CCIE level to the material of Cisco U.

The Deep Network Modes also Cisco Ai Assistant power, a natural language interface that identifies problems, diagnoses the causes and automates workflows, reducing the time of tasks from hours to minutes. In addition, Cisco presents the new AI Canvas, a generative interface of AI for control panels that allows netops, Secops and Devops equipment to collaborate, optimize operations and reduce the load of IT.

Next network devices designed to climb with AI

To respond to the unprecedented demands that the workloads of IA will impose to the networks, Cisco presents hardware that offers low latency, high capacity and advanced security for the company.

Each device is adapted to meet the specific demands of its environment:

  • New smart switches Cisco C9350 and C9610 for campus networks: Cisco launches a new generation of smart switches, driven by Silicon One, which offer up to 51.2 TBPS capacity, less than 5 latency microseconds and a safe network resistant to quantum computing for applications of critical mission.
  • New Routers Seguros Cisco 8100, 8200, 8300, 8400 and 8500: As the AI transforms operations into branches and customer interaction, new Cisco safe routers offer native SD-Wan and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), next generation Firewall (NGFW) and post-chanting safety in a WAN-All solution, with up to three times the performance of previous generations.
  • Extended wireless porpholio: Cisco expands its Wi-Fi 7 porpholio with the Cisco Wireless 9179F sets for stadiums and large enclosures, and offers roaming managed in the cloud for large campus with the new Cisco Campus Gateway.
  • Extended Industrial Porfolio: To meet the demanding performance and reliability needs of the use of industrial use, Cisco introduces new reinforced switches into a variety of formats for applications such as visual quality inspection and autonomous mobile robots. In addition, new critical cases of wireless connectivity are connected with the integration of ultra-relation Wireless Backhaul (URWB) together with Wi-Fi technology in a single access point.

Integrated security in the network

To combat threats in constant evolution, Cisco integrates advanced security in the network and presents new protections in three key layers:

  • Red infrastructure protection: Cisco Live Protect offers compensatory controls at the kernel level, exploits and protects switches and routers without the need to reinstall or cause interruptions.
  • Data defense in transit: Cisco incorporates Macsec encryption, Wan Macsec and IPSEC prepared for the post-quantic era, defending against ‘intercepting attacks now, deciphering later. ”The new C9000 smart switches are ready for Hypershield, improving network segmentation to contain threats at machine speed.
  • Protection of users, terminals and applications: Cisco extends protection to each device and application connected to the network, combining microsegmentation, classification of devices promoted by AI and common policies. With the intelligence of Cisco Identity Services Engine, Cyber Vision and Cisco Talos, together with Cisco Secure Access SSE, organizations can apply security effectively at all points of the network.

With hardware available this month, this new architecture relies on a single platform with unified management, licenses and support, and the flexibility of deploying in the cloud, hybrid or local. The unified management platform is now available, Cisco Ai Assistant is located in Beta Public and Cisco Ai Canvas will be tested with selected customers this autumn.
