Microsoft just rolled out a bunch of new Copilot features, all designed to make AI feel less robotic and a little more personal.

Microsoft’s latest Copilot update is all about making AI more helpful. It arrives packing 12 new features focused on long-term memory, collaboration, and even your well-being.

The leading update here is Memory & Personalisation, which lets you ask Copilot to remember important stuff like anniversaries, fitness goals, ongoing projects, or whatever’s on your mind.

You can edit or delete memories at any time, and soon, Copilot will even pull up past conversations so you can jump back in without missing a beat.

Copilot’s also getting a social boost with Groups, turning AI into a real-time collaborator. Up to 32 users can now brainstorm, co-write, or plan together with Copilot, keeping everyone on track by summarising discussions and tracking tasks. It has even added Mico, a new expressive avatar that listens as well as changes colour and expression to mirror your tone for making Copilot feel more natural when it comes to conversing.

With Learn Live, Copilot steps in as more than just an answer machine. It turns into a voice-enabled tutor that walks you through concepts and helps you actually learn them.

On the practical side, connectors make it easier to search across accounts like Outlook, Gmail, Google Drive, and OneDrive. And in Edge, Copilot Mode is turning into a smarter companion, ready to sum up your tabs, help fill out forms, or organise browsing journeys with full-opt privacy controls.

A major new addition is Copilot for Health, one of AI’s trickiest areas. It’s meant to answer medical questions, drawing on trusted medical sources like Harvard Health, and the tools can even help find doctors nearby. It’s an interesting addition, but let’s be real – everyone’s going to be watching closely to see if it gets the details right.

Altogether, these features make Copilot more personal and proactive than ever. It remembers your milestones, works alongside your friends, and aims to keep track of the moments that actually matter to you.

All of the new features are now live in the United States, with the rollout to the UK, Canada, and other regions set to follow in the coming weeks.
