Disney+ and Hulu are really working hard to sell their value proposition before they merge, with both of the streaming platforms dishing out hot content this week. Disney has always drawn subscribers with the Marvel and Star Wars franchises, so both Daredevil and Darth Maul highlight April, while Hulu serves a more mature audience..

Pizza Movie (April 3, Hulu)
Sometimes, the dumbest concepts can make the funniest movies. New stoner comedy Pizza Movie from web sketch team BriTANicK (government names Nick Kocher and Brian McElhaney) stars Gaten Matarazzo and Sean Giambrone as a pair of college roommates under the influence of a potent hallucinogen who must navigate the impossible and climb two flights of stairs in order to get their pizza delivery.

Star Wars: Maul: Shadow Lord (April 6, Disney+)
Ever wonder what Darth Maul got up to after the Clone Wars? One of the most visually distinctive characters from the prequels gets his own animated series this week on Disney+, and it looks pretty cool. With the Empire established, Maul has nothing to fight for, so he takes a post on the planet Janix to rebuild his personal power, as well as taking on an apprentice.
The Testaments (April 8, Hulu)
The fact that there is now a Handmaid’s Tale cinematic universe boggles the mind, but we live in a weird universe. The Testaments is a sequel to the ultra-popular series, bringing back Ann Dowd’s Aunt Lydia character from the original series as she guides a new generation of girls. The main difference here is that these young women have no memory of what the world was like before Gilead, but that knowledge can’t remain hidden for long.
