Diesel’s always had a thing for bold designs, and I think its latest collaboration might be one of the most exciting things it’s launched in years. The Diesel Ultrahuman Ring takes Ultrahuman’s well-loved smart ring and wraps it in a chunky 90s-inspired shell that looks like it wandered straight out of the end of the millennium and into your wellness routine.

On the tech side, nothing’s been touched. The ring tracks sleep, steps, calories, heart rate, as well as the deeper metrics that help you understand why you feel the way you do. You get real-time recovery and stress readings, caffeine tracking with suggested cut-off times (handy if you’re prone to late-night espressos), plus cycle and ovulation insights.

The Diesel Ultrahuman Ring syncs automatically with your phone, lasts four to six days on a charge, and doesn’t hide any features behind a subscription.

But Diesel’s touch is what gives this ring character. The ring comes in shiny silver or a distressed black finish, each stamped with the brand’s Double D logo.

The charger gets a design update as well – Diesel’s iconic red base, bold graphic logo, and a matching cable that looks like it belongs in a box of limited-edition jeans.

Diesel’s creative director, Glenn Martens, has been pushing the brand further into tech culture, and this feels like a match made in heaven. Ultrahuman brings the science, Diesel brings the attitude, and together they’ve built something that doesn’t look like your typical health tracker.

The Diesel Ultrahuman Ring is on sale now for £469 through Diesel, Ultrahuman, and Amazon.
