DJI’s upcoming Neo 2 drone is reportedly priced from $229, with a Fly More Combo at $449, according to DroneXL and leaker Jasper Ellens. The drone is expected to launch on Oct. 30. It is said to weigh 135 grams and use a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor that records 4K video at 60 fps with 10-bit HDR and D-Log M color modes. The built-in 1,600 mAh battery is reportedly rated for up to 19 minutes of flight time and supports USB-C charging.
The Neo 2 is said to provide level-5 wind resistance (withstanding 10 m/s winds) and a top speed of 16 m/s. Its upgraded O4 transmission system reportedly extends the control range to 10 kilometers. Leaks also suggest intelligent flight functions such as auto return, a manual Acro mode for stunts, and six QuickShots options for automated filming.
DJI is also said to be preparing accessories including an Intelligent Flight Battery priced at $129, propeller sets at $39, and DJI Care coverage starting at $28 for one year or $48 for two years. [IThome, in Chinese]
