Whether you’re looking for a tablet for everyday use, or want a budget-friendly device to keep the kids busy, this deal on the Amazon Fire Max 11 is not to be missed.

Save a massive £70 and get the Amazon Fire Max 11 tablet for just £179.99 on Amazon. That’s a solid 28% off its usual price.

With an 11-inch display, a powerful octa-core processor and Alexa support, the Fire Max 11 is a brilliant tablet that’s perfect for streaming, gaming and multitasking between apps.

We found the Fire Max 11’s 2K display isn’t only “pin-sharp and packed with detail” but it also offers “excellent contrast with a wide viewing angle” too. Plus, unlike the much more expensive iPad 10, the Fire Max 11’s display is fully laminated, which means there’s no gap between the front glass and LCD panel. Essentially, this allows the Fire Max 11 to feel more robust and well-built.

Powering the Fire Max 11 is an octa-core processor, which handles everything from switching between apps and browsing the web to gaming with ease.

Keep in mind that the Fire Max 11 does not have access to the Google Play Store and uses Amazon’s own Appstore instead. While Appstore includes the likes of Instagram, Netflix and Microsoft 365, you’ll miss out on Google apps such as Docs, Gmail and YouTube.

Naturally as an Amazon device, you can find voice-assistant Alexa built into the tablet, allowing for hands-free control. Not only can you ask Alexa to perform tasks, read out the headlines and more, but you can also control all your compatible smart home devices from the tablet too.

Overall we gave the Fire Max 11 a solid four-star rating, with Mobile Editor Lewis Painter concluding “if […] you’re looking for a cheap tablet for streaming, scrolling through social media and a bit of light gaming and you can accept Amazon’s limited Appstore offering, the hardware is deliciously solid for the price”.

At under £180, if you need an affordable Android tablet then the Fire Max 11 is a brilliant choice. Just remember that not all Google apps are compatible, so make sure you check before you buy.
