EA surprised Steam players by dropping 18 games from its library on Steam all in one day.
While many players were happy to see EA’s older games on a different platform, it had a negative effect on some.
The games that EA released instantly shot up in the Steam charts, placing near the top.
This was helped by the 60% discount on all titles, a deal that will end on Thursday, March 21, 2024.
However, this means smaller games that were doing well on Steam, were instantly pushed further down the list.
This means that they received fewer sales and were not aware of what EA was planning before the games were released.
If you are interested in picking up the latest indie games, be aware that you might have to scroll a little further down the popular list to find new games.
If you are interested in any of the games from the older EA library, here are the games currently available on Steam.
