Checking the price tracker that we use, the last time the BeoPlay HX were around this price was in early June for £349. There have been less expensive, £319 back in December 2024, but this Prime Day deal price is the ‘cheapest’ it’s been in 2025.

We’ve not reviewed this model so we can’t comment on the performance. But here’s what we do know.
Battery life is up to 35 hours, with active noise cancellation switched on, which four years after the headphones launched, that’s still more battery life than the likes of Bose, Sony and Apple. Turn ANC off and you can get 40 hours of battery life from the HX.
Audio is sent through two custom designed 40mm speaker drivers with neodymium magnets and bass ports that Bang & Olufsen says ensures the most optimal bass performance.
The noise cancellation system is described as cancelling unwanted noise with affecting sound quality. You also have other ANC presets such as a transparency that you can use if you want to hear more of what’s around you.
For calls, B&O say that speech delivery has been improved with the four onboard microphones (two shared with ANC) there to enhance call quality.
Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity brings support SBC, AAC and aptX Adaptive codecs, with the latter offering the best connection and audio quality (if you have an Android smartphone). Thy also carry support for Microsoft Swift Pair, Google Fast Pair and Made for iPhone (MFi) to connect the headphones to your device of choice quickly.
With a very fashionable look, people will be staring at you. That is, if you bag yourself the headphones with this tempting deal.
