A BELOVED fast food chain that some claim is better than In-N-Out is opening a new store as part of its massive expansion plans.
The new spot is opening in just a matter of days, and it’s opening in 12 more states in the rest of 2025.

A new Culver’s restaurant is set to open on July 7, a burger chain known for its its ButterBurgers and frozen custard.
The new spot will be opening West Carrollton’s River District in Ohio.
A grand opening for the new restaurant will be held on the day, and a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 9am.
It will be open daily from 10am to 11pm, excluding some holidays.
Culver’s franchisee Claudio Zeledón said: “We’re excited to open and begin welcoming guests through our doors with the warm hospitality Culver’s is known for.
“When West Carrollton and Dayton residents are looking for handcrafted meals cooked to order and tasty frozen treats, we’ll be ready to serve them.”
The new Culver’s is part of a big $75 million investment ti transform West Carrollton.
This restaurant will be the first new addition, which is set to be turned into a mixed-development site.
It will feature retail, dining, entertainment, residential, and public recreation spaces.
EXPANSION PLANS
Culver’s is planning to open 27 more restaurants in a handful of additional states or the rest of the year.
The chain is setting its sights on Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin.
Culver’s does already have a presence in the large majority of these states, including 36 restaurants in Arizona and two in Arkansas.
The chain has already opened new locations 15 this year, and currently operates in 26 states overall.
The newest Culver’s restaurants can be found in placers like North Carolina, Florida and Michigan.

A spokesperson for Culver’s told Patch.com: “One of our co-founders, Craig Culver, always said ‘it’s not about the number of restaurants we have, it’s about the number of great restaurants.’
“So when we remember that it all started in one community, with one successful restaurant, serving one friend, neighbor and family at a time, that’s when our brand will continue to win.
“That’s why require our owner-operators to be present and engaged in each and every restaurant so we can meet our guests’ expectations of hometown hospitality served with a delicious meal every time.”
Culver’s has averaged between 560 and 60 openings annually over the last several years.
Going forward, Culver’s anticipates that to continue to be the range for the remainder of 2025 and 2026.
More new locations are already being considered, however the spokesperson confirmed that “due to where we are in the development process, we won’t be able to share any additional locations” at this time.
