GetBlock, a premium RPC node provider and Web3 infrastructure platform, has announced its first major achievement with region-specific shared APIs. Just two weeks after launch, GetBlock New York-based BNB Smart Chain (BSC) infrastructure cluster has become the fastest in the Americas.

Fastest BSC RPC in the Americas: GetBlock reaches 21 ms latency in the US

As of July 15, 2025, GetBlock’s BSC RPC APIs have reached a significant milestone in the Western Hemisphere. According to a recent report from CompareNodes, the platform outperformed all competitors in both North and South America in terms of latency.

In North America, GetBlock’s BSC mainnet node averaged a latency of 41.4 milliseconds for the eth_getBalance method making it 8.2% faster than ConsenSys’ Infura, one of the oldest and most reputable RPC node providers.

In specific locations such as Northern Virginia, US, and Montreal, Canada, latency drops as low as an impressive 21 ms.

In South America, GetBlock is dominating the charts: recent benchmarking shows a latency of just 128.6 ms. Its closest competitor, blockchain heavyweight Alchemy, returns data over 35% slower.

Numbers speak for themselves: GetBlock now offers the fastest RPC endpoints for BSC in both North and South America – an impressive feat for one of the dominant EVM-compatible blockchains. For BSC-based dApps of all types, migrating to GetBlock is a smart move.

Earlier this month, GetBlock launched region-specific endpoints for its shared nodes. This allows users to specify the location of their RPC API connection when setting up an access token.

Getting started with GetBlock’s region-specific APIs: Just two steps

To start sending requests to the fastest BSC RPC nodes in the Americas, simply:

  1. Log in to GetBlock using MetaMask, GitHub, Google, or your email address.
  2. Navigate to the Shared Nodes menu. Click Get, then select the following:
  • Protocol: BNB Smart Chain
  • Network: Mainnet
  • Interface: GraphQL, JSON-RPC, or WebSockets
  • Region: USA, New York

That’s it! Your unique API endpoint (e.g., https://go.getblock.us/0ef4d242b…) will connect your dApp to the industry’s fastest RPC nodes.

This feature is available on all plans, including the free tier. Paid plans also benefit from MEV protection along with top-tier speed.

And this is just the beginning.

Singapore endpoints and additional blockchains will soon be supported with region-specific API options.

Stay tuned,

GetBlock Team
