While Fedora 43 was released at the end of October and there is just one month to go now until the release of Fedora 44, Fedora Asahi Remix 43 debuted today as this spin of Fedora Linux for Apple Silicon Macs.

Fedora Asahi Remix 43 brings Fedora 43 to Apple Silicon devices, which at the moment given the Linux / Asahi Linux level of support means the older M1 and M2 Macs and MacBooks.

Fedora Asahi Remix 43 brings in all of the notable changes of Fedora 43 itself. With this new version also comes support for the Mac Pro, microphone support now working for M2 Pro and M2 Max MacBooks, and 120Hz refresh rate support for the MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16 models.

Fedora Asahi Remix 43 is pulling in KDE Plasma 6.6 for an up-to-date KDE desktop experience.
