THE first set of Sky TV guide changes for 2026 are rolling out to viewers across the UK.
Keen-eyed Brits will note that two Sky channels have been swapped out in a New Year reshuffle.
Sky regularly makes changes to its TV guide (and its system in general) typically adjusting channels every week.
And the TV guide is especially active around the Christmas season as festive channels come and go.
Now two fan-favourite channels linked to iconic movie franchises have been swapped back to their original programming.
So if you were a fan of the Sky Harry Potter channel, you might be disappointed.

That channel – normally broadcasting on 306 for Satellite, Sky Glasses, and Sky Stream – has resumed its normal service as Sky Family HD.
Sky says that this is “reverting from a temporary change”, with the swap taking place on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
The other channel returning to its original programming is Sky Jurassic Park on channel 307.
This channel is going back to being Sky Action HD, with the swap scheduled for Friday, January 2.
There are very likely still be more changes to come.
Sky typically only announces channel changes for the week ahead.
We’d usually find out early on Friday regarding upcoming channel swaps, but we don’t have the changes yet for the week beginning Monday, January 5.
However, it follows an immensely busy December of channel changes.
