Amazon Prime
One thrifty way for millions of Brits to claim cut-price movie tickets is through Amazon Prime.
The subscription costs you £8.99 a month, and you might already have it for speedy deliveries, Prime Video telly, no-cost video games, or the free Deliveroo Silver Plus membership.
But it also gets you two movie tickets at Odeon for a tenner.
Or you can bag a pair of two posh recliner seats at Odeon Luxe for £15 – that’s £7.50 each.

You can only use the offer once a month between Mondays and Thursdays – and you’ll need to pay extra if you want a 3D, IMAX, iSense, or Dolby upgrade.
Just bag the code from Amazon’s Prime Odeon deal page here and then plug it into your cinema ticket purchase at checkout.
Sky Cinema
Sky TV customers can also bag a movie ticket offer – not just discounted either, but totally free.
Yes, it turns out that the Sky Cinema TV package includes a trip to the movies for you and a friend every month.
The pair of tickets don’t cost a penny, as long as you have Sky Cinema (currently available as a £10 upgrade). It needs to be a proper subscription, not just a free trial.
You’ll be able to claim the free tickets at Vue cinemas, but only between Sunday and Thursday.
Just download the MySky app on your iPhone, Android or tablet, log in, choose Sky VIP, then select Your Vue Tickets.
Then just claim the codes and use them when you book your seat. There’s also a QR code option for using the discount in person.
Vodafone VeryMe

HOW MUCH DOES AMAZON PRIME COST?

Here’s what you need to know about Amazon Prime pricing in the UK…
A standard Amazon Prime membership costs £8.99 a month – that’s £107.88 over the course of a year.
If you pay annually, you’ll be billed £95 instead.
For TV fans who just want Amazon Prime Video without a full Prime membership, it’ll cost you £5.99 a month, working out at £71.88 for the year.
Students can get discounted Amazon Prime, with the monthly cost reduced to £4.49 (or £53.88 over the course of a year).
And for students who pay annually, the one-off yearly fee is £47.49.

Three+
Rivalling the Vodafone offer is Three’s Cineworld promotion.
You can bag tickets to the cinema for just £3, but you can only claim one per person.
They can be used between Sunday and Friday, and you’ll just want to redeem the code online (or use the QR code in person).
It’s part of the Three+ rewards program, which is open to all Pay Monthly and Pay-As-You-Go customers.
