The tag of “Black Myth Wukong Leak” quickly became a trending topic on Chinese X-like platform Weibo following the sharing of the videos. “Spoilers can greatly impact the immersive experience and sense of role-playing in the game,” Feng emphasized in a Weibo post. The official release date for the new Game Science title is August 20. Several gaming media outlets have posted preview announcements on social media in recent days, stating that they will share their game-play impressions after the review embargo lifts on August 16.
