To celebrate the recent release of Genshin Impact’s 3-disc set with 59 tracks from the game (including Apple Music-exclusive tracks), miHoYo and Apple are offering up to 3 months of free Apple Music and Apple Music Classical for free. Here’s how to redeem it.

Genshin Impact has been one of the most successful RPG games since 2020, and it is available for iOS, Android, Windows Xbox, PlayStation and beyond.

The anime-style open-world game features an original soundtrack that has been performed by multiple world-renowned orchestras, including the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.

Recently, the album The Shimmering Voyage Vol. 5 was released, featuring dozens of tracks from the game. It is divided into 3 discs, and can be found on both Apple Music, and Apple Music Classical.

To celebrate the launch, Apple Music and the studio behind the game are offering 2 months of Apple Music for free to returning subscribers, and 3 months for free to new subscribers.

One interesting tidbit of the release is that the soundtrack is also available with track-by-track commentary, an Apple Music exclusive.

Here’s Anjali Malhotra, Global Director for Apple Music Classical, on the release:

“Apple Music Classical is delighted to engage with the world of gaming and the brilliant music that is loved by audiences around the world. To have the original voice-actors of Genshin Impact record the track-by-track commentaries for the first time ever is incredibly exciting as it will bring these vivid and wondrous soundtracks to a new global audience, giving fans something new to enjoy.”

And here’s Fish Ling, VP of Global Business Development at HoYoverse:

“It has been a great pleasure collaborating with Apple Music Classical to introduce the Genshin Impact soundtracks to the classical music world, enhanced by the track-by-track commentary feature that allows us to share our creative process with fans and listeners. The music of Genshin Impact draws inspiration from diverse musical traditions, and we hold deep respect for the classical heritage. Thanks to the courtesy of Apple Music Classical, we are excited to invite our players and fans to explore the rich world of classical music!”

You can redeem the offer through October 31.

Apple Music requires an active subscription. You can sign up for $10.99 per month, with 1 month free.
