The Samsung Galaxy S25 might’ve first graced us with its presence all the way back in January, but it remains one of the best smartphones around in 2025 – especially if you covet the small-screen experience.

That’s what makes the limited-time Prime Big Deal Days offer so tempting; it brings the price of the Galaxy S25 down from £859 to just £659, a massive £200 off, representing a not-insignificant saving of 23%. That’ll net you the smartphone in its sleek Silver Shadow finish, along with a boosted 256GB of internal memory for all your apps, photos and music.

There is a catch though; to take advantage of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days offers, you’ll need an active Amazon Prime subscription.

The good news is that you can sign up for a free trial of Amazon Prime and take advantage of the deal bonanza – just remember to cancel before the end of your trial period if you’re not interested in signing up long-term.

We loved its compact, pocketable form factor and matching 6.3-inch AMOLED screen, especially compared to much of the flagship competition that can measure in at 6.7 inches, if not larger. And despite being the thinnest and lightest member of the Galaxy S25 family, it doesn’t skimp on flagship features.

The 6.3-inch AMOLED screen, for example, boasts the same advanced LTPO tech as the top-end Ultra model that lets it switch from 1-120Hz on the fly for a more battery-efficient, responsive screen experience. You also have a capable trio of rear-facing cameras, which are capable of recording Dolby Vision HDR content at 4K.

It’s best described as a pocket rocket, sporting the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset. The regular 8 Elite is powerful enough, but the For Galaxy version takes it a step further with higher CPU and GPU clock speeds to eke out a little bit more performance.

Of course, that’s all backed up by the excellent software experience; while it launched with One UI 7 earlier this year, it has since received the update to One UI 8 based on Android 16, complete with upgraded Galaxy AI smarts. These AI-powered features permeate practically every area of the experience, whether you’re looking to rewrite text, translate conversations or reimagine your photos.

Throw in all-day battery life, great long-term software support and a stylish, minimalistic design and the Galaxy S25 really is hard to resist – especially at its discounted price point.

Samsung announced its latest flagship smartphones in the middle of January in the form of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25 Plus and the Galaxy S25. It also teased a fourth device in the Galaxy S25 Edge, but that’s a story for another day. The Galaxy S25 is the smallest and cheapest of the
