If you’ve been eyeing a purchase and waiting for its price to drop, a new Google Search feature will let you set customizable price alerts for select products.

To get started, tap on the product image or product details from the search results page. Go to Track price, enable the option that says “Only notify me below a specific price,” and move the slider to set your price limit. You can also set similar alerts for specific colors and sizes.

While Google’s demo shows how the feature works on fashion products, a spokespersons confirms to PCMag that it works for all categories. However, note that the first row on the search results page is typically reserved for sponsored or promoted products. Clicking them will take you directly to the product website.

As 9to5Google notes, Search has had a price tracker for quite some time, but it previously sent alerts only when there was a “notable drop in price.” With the updated tracker, you receive an alert exactly when it reaches your ideal price.

Along with the price tracker, Google is also rolling out its virtual try-on feature. First announced at the I/O event in May, it lets you upload a photo of yourself and see how a piece of clothing would look on you.

To get started, tap on an apparel product listing on Google Search or Google Images, and select the “Try it on” icon. Upload a full-length photo of yourself and wait for the AI to do its magic. You can share the AI-generated look with your friends and family, and also keep a collection of everything you tried so far.

Previously, the feature was limited to Search Labs testers, but it has opened up to all users in the US today. Interestingly, Google also started testing a dedicated app for virtual try-ons, called Doppl, last month.

Come fall, you’ll also be able to search for fashion trends and decor ideas with text prompts in AI Mode. Just describe what you’re looking for, and Google’s vision match tech will present you with AI-generated mock-ups. Once you select a mock-up close to your vision, Google will show you actual products that you can purchase.
