What better way to celebrate Microsoft’s 50th anniversary than buying yourself a new pair of shoes? The eccentric Windows XP Crocs are now for sale on Microsoft’s store for $79.95 a pair.

The shoes were first revealed on Oct. 1 as part of a sweepstakes on the official Microsoft Instagram account. Some worried it meant they would only be available as a prize, but now Microsoft is letting you buy your own pair. As spotted by The Verge, the shoes were made available on Oct. 10, with women’s sizes ranging from 4 to 19 and men’s sizes from 2 to 17.

The design of the Crocs is based on the Bliss theme, which became an iconic part of Windows XP with its rolling hills background and blue navigation bar. The color palette of the Crocs is designed to reflect the green grass and blue sky featured in the wallpaper.

Plus, there’s a drawstring bag included with the Crocs, which also uses the Bliss wallpaper.

For many, the highlight is six Microsoft-themed Jibbitz charms for the top of the shoes. It includes Microsoft’s assistant Clippy from the XP era, an MSN butterfly, and the original logo for Internet Explorer. There’s also the Windows XP file folder, as well as the Recycle Bin, and a simple cursor. You can move these charms around the shoes using the holes in the top.

Microsoft’s website says it will begin shipments of the Crocs in mid-October, and they’ll be completed by mid-November. On its Instagram page, it also urges people to buy them “before nostalgia runs out,” suggesting stock will be limited.

Microsoft has offered other Windows-themed apparel, including an ugly holiday sweater in 2023. And don’t forget the hoodie for your Xbox in 2022.
