Here’s where you can preorder Google’s upcoming Pixel Watch 4

Google’s Pixel phone lineup isn’t the only thing getting an upgrade in the coming weeks. The company also took the time during its recent Made by Google event to introduce the forthcoming Pixel Watch 4, which starts at $349 and hits shelves on October 9th. Thankfully, if you’re looking to secure one at launch, you can already preorder the Pixel Watch 3 successor from Google, Amazon, and Best Buy.

The redesigned Pixel Watch 4 sports a new domed “Actua 360” display with slimmer bezels and noticeably more screen real estate. It’s twice as bright as last year’s Pixel Watch 3, too, with 3,000 nits of peak brightness. Google added a side-mounted charger, which, as my colleague Victoria Song noted in her hands-on impressions, turns your watch into a little display that showcases the battery percentage, your next alarm, and other info. And, in a very welcome improvement, both the display and the battery are now replaceable (and repairable).

Inside, the new wearable runs on the new Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip, which allows for more on-device AI features like smart replies. Gemini has also replaced Google Assistant, which you can activate by simply raising your wrist. Google has also added a new Satellite SOS mode, an industry-first that lets owners of LTE-enabled watches call for emergency services even without cellular service. And, of course, there are new health and fitness features, like retroactive AI activity recognition and the new AI Health Coach, which, in our brief time testing it, shows plenty of promise and seems genuinely helpful.

We’re still testing putting Google’s latest smartwatch through its paces — and we’ll be sure to share our thoughts about these new features after spending more time with it — but here’s where you can place a preorder if you want to be an early adopter.

Where to preorder the Google Pixel Watch 4

The Pixel Watch 4 comes in two sizes: a 41mm model that starts at $349 and a 45mm version that starts at $399. Adding LTE connectivity costs an extra $100, which increases prices to $449 and $499, respectively. The 41mm model is available in a silver case with a new purple band, or you can buy it in a muted gold case with a matching band. The 45mm model, meanwhile, introduces a new silverish-blue case with a matching band. There’s also a claspless Gradient Stretch Band made from polyester yarn, which can be paired with either the 41mm or 45mm model.

Right now, you can preorder the Wi-Fi-enabled version of the 41mm Pixel Watch 4 from Amazon, Google, and Best Buy starting at $349.99. The LTE model is also available for preorder at Amazon, the Google Store, and Best Buy, where you can grab it starting at $449.99. Alternatively, if you’re looking to pick up the 45mm model, you can preorder it at Amazon, the Google Store, and Best Buy starting at $399.99, or with LTE from Google, Amazon, and Best Buy for $499.99.
