Chinese phone maker Honor announced today that it will release its first small foldable phone, the Magic V Flip, on June 13. Pre-orders are now open in three color options: black, pink, and white. The new foldable phone features 12GB of RAM and comes with three storage choices – 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB – according to the company. Honor has said it is procuring the largest external screen on the market for this new model, with this aspect expected to be a key selling point for the Magic V Flip, according to local media outlet IThome. China’s foldable phone shipments reached 1.86 million units in the first quarter of 2024, representing an 83% increase year-on-year, as reported by market intelligence firm IDC in April.
