This website contains affiliate links. Some products are gifted by the brand. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases. The content on this website was created with the help of AI.

While I share money-making strategies, nothing is “typical”, and outcomes are based on each individual. There are no guarantees.

I didn’t set out to become an affiliate marketer. Back when I was starting my Las Vegas real estate business, I was constantly sharing the tools I used to generate leads, build websites, and manage my marketing. I’d tell agents, “This CRM saves me hours,” or “This tool doubled my traffic.” One day, I realized those companies had affiliate programs — which meant I could get paid for the referrals I was already making for free.

The first time I earned a commission, it clicked: I could build a business around simply sharing what I use and love. No inventory, no customer service, no employees — just content and links. What started as a side stream quickly grew into one of the most profitable parts of my business. Today, affiliate marketing is not just a revenue source — it’s my favorite way to make money online because it gives me freedom, profit, and scalability without complication.

Proof of Income

This number is missing the Amazon income, which was reported, but not yet paid, due to a delay on their end. Add $14,245.59 + $1,072.34 for the monthly affiliate income.

This is the screenshot from my Quickbooks account.

What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is a business model where you earn a commission for promoting someone else’s product or service. Instead of creating, shipping, or supporting the product yourself, you simply recommend it through your content — like a blog, YouTube video, email, TikTok, or Pinterest pin — and include a special tracking link.

When someone clicks your link and makes a purchase, the company pays you a percentage of the sale. That buyer becomes their customer, not yours. You don’t handle returns, questions, or inventory — your job is only to connect the right product with the right audience.

The beauty of affiliate marketing is that it can be scaled through content. A single video or blog post can keep generating clicks and sales long after you publish it. That’s why it’s one of the simplest and most profitable ways to build a business online — low cost, low risk, and high freedom.

Affiliate Marketing System

Types of Affiliate Marketing

Not all affiliate programs work the same. Here are the main types you’ll come across — and why I use a mix of them in my own business.

1. Software Affiliates (Recurring Commissions)

This is where most of my high-profit income comes from. With software affiliates, you often earn a recurring monthly commission for as long as the customer stays subscribed. For example, if someone signs up for a tool you recommend and pays $97/month, and you’re getting 30% recurring, that’s $29.10 every month — from one referral. Stack enough of these, and you’re building residual income.

Some of the Items I promote and actually use:

  1. Pinclicks
  2. VidIQ
  3. Harpa
  4. Ideogram
  5. Opus Clips
  6. Ballen Brands

2. Product Affiliates (One-Time Commissions)

This includes Amazon Influencer, TikTok Shop, Pinterest product tags, and similar programs. When someone buys through your link, you get a percentage of the sale. These commissions are usually smaller and one-time only, but the volume can be high because people are shopping for physical products every day.

3. Digital Product Affiliates

Some creators and educators offer affiliate programs for their e-books, templates, or online courses. These can pay well, especially if they’re high-ticket programs. Unlike software, it’s usually a one-time payout, but it can still add up fast.

4. Hybrid Programs

Some companies mix models — offering both one-time bonuses and recurring payouts. For example, a platform might pay you a flat bonus when you refer a new customer plus ongoing commissions if they stay active.

The smart approach is combining all four. Software affiliates give you predictable recurring income. Product affiliates generate quick wins and volume. Digital products add higher payouts. Hybrid programs fill the gap. Together, they create a stable and scalable system that makes affiliate marketing such a powerful business model.

Examples of Affiliate Programs I Promote

To make this real, here are the kinds of affiliate programs that drive my income every month:

Software Affiliates – I promote the tools I actually use to run my business, like website builders, CRMs, analytics platforms, and marketing automation software. These usually pay recurring commissions, which makes them the backbone of my predictable income.

Amazon Influencer Program – I feature products I buy, use, or recommend, and earn a commission whenever someone shops through my storefront or links.

TikTok Shop & Pinterest Product Tags – Short-form content is powerful for quick wins. I tag products in TikToks and pins, and people can buy them instantly without leaving the platform.

Youtube Affiliate program – Youtube has an affiliate program that allows me to share everything from the makeup I use, to the fashion I wear, to what I feed my cats!

The key is that I never promote something I don’t use or believe in. That authenticity builds trust, and trust leads to conversions.

Do you want me to now draft the “System Steps” section so the blog naturally moves from examples into your exact $15K/month process?

Traffic Sources That Drive My Affiliate Sales

Affiliate marketing only works if people actually see your content, and for me, traffic comes from multiple platforms working together. Each plays a role in building awareness, clicks, and ultimately, sales.

YouTube – My YouTube channels are a huge driver. Long-form videos build authority, while Shorts capture quick attention and send viewers straight to product links in the description or YouTube Shopping.

Pinterest – With millions of monthly views, Pinterest is a long-term traffic machine. Pins and Idea Pins featuring products keep getting discovered months or even years after posting, which means steady affiliate clicks on autopilot.

TikTok – Short, fast-moving videos are perfect for product discovery. TikTok Shop lets me tag products directly so people can buy without leaving the app, which boosts conversions.

Blogs – My websites give me a home base. Blog posts optimized for keywords rank in Google, drive organic traffic, and generate affiliate sales long after I publish them.

Email & Social Media – I also repurpose content into emails and other platforms. This keeps my audience engaged and clicking, no matter where they prefer to consume content.

The key is stacking these sources so no single platform is responsible for all the income. That’s how the business stays stable and continues growing month after month.
