In need of a great fitness focused smartwatch that still delivers on looks? This is the smartwatch bargain for you.

I’ve reviewed countless smartwatches and fitness trackers in my time at Trusted Reviews, and while I love the smart features that a lot of them bring to the table, there’s only a small handful that I can genuinely describe as being ‘stylish’ – the Huawei Watch GT 4 is among them.

Specifically, it’s the Green 46mm Huawei Watch GT 4 that’s the most eye-catching, and now even more so as it’s plummeted down from its original price of £249.99 to just £128.23 for Amazon Prime subscribers.

The Huawei Watch GT 4 is now a steal

The Huawei Watch GT 4 is now a steal

The Huawei Watch GT 4 is a stylish smartwatch that was already easy to recommend at full price, but when it’s going for almost half its original cost, it’s now a bargain amongst its competitors.

View Deal

The Watch GT 4 was always easy to recommend at full price but when it’s been discounted by 49%, it’s now cheaper than fitness trackers like the Fitbit Charge 6, and a much better buy for all that you get for your money.

Circling back to the best facet of the Huawei Watch GT 4 – the looks. The combination of the silver stainless steel chassis and the forest green watch band helps the GT 4 to stand out from the crowd in the best way possible. It’s the type of design that actually accentuates your style, instead of merely serving a functional purpose.

The one caveat I will say is that because of the international limitations of Huawei’s software, the GT 4 can’t outdo the Apple Watch or the best Wear OS watches when it comes to smart features like NFC payments and app support. Where the GT 4 does shine however is in fitness tracking,  especially when tracking your sleep.

In our four-star review for the watch, Mike Sawh wrote: “it’ll also track your sleep and display sleep scores, break down sleep stages on the watch and capture naps – handy if you want to catch a quick bit of shut-eye. I compared sleep stats to the Oura Ring Gen 3, one of the most reliable sleep trackers I’ve tested, and found the sleep times and durations were pretty similar as well as sleep scores and registering REM sleep stages. The sleep data in general felt solid overall.”

Unlike a lot of smartwatches, the GT 4 can actually go the distance where battery life is concerned, running for up to two weeks on a single charge, which helps it to gain a proper holistic look at your health as you can wear it for a longer period of time.

It’s also worth mentioning that the GT 4 works with both iPhone and Android devices, so you don’t have to worry about being locked into one ecosystem or another.

At just £128.23, it’s hard to argue with the value proposition of the Huawei Watch GT 4 – nothing really comes close in this price bracket.
