The separated couple attended a hearing on July 25 to decide who violated their 2024 divorce judgement, according to US Weekly.

The judge took Shumpert’s side, saying that Taylor violated the divorce agreement, specifically the part saying they wouldn’t disclose information about the judgement.

Taylor posted an Instagram video in March talking about the divorce.

She had accused Shumpert of leaking information about their divorce to the press, but the judge ruled that Taylor didn’t have sufficient evidence.

Taylor reportedly refused to answer questions “inquiring about her assets and her income, further stating that such information was completely irrelevant to any issue,” according to the court order.

She was ordered to pay Shumpert’s lawyer $70,000 for legal feels.

Taylor’s request for Shumpert to pay her legal fees was denied.

Shumpert did take one loss during the court session, having one of his requests denied.

He wanted Taylor to be found in contempt of court for violating their parenting plan, according to US Weekly.

Taylor filed for divorce from Shumpert in January of 2023.

She accused him of being jealous and an emotional abuser in court documents obtained by TMZ at the time.

Taylor alleged Shumpert was “treating her cruelly and displaying extreme narcissistic behavior throughout the majority of their marriage.”

Shumpert denied her claims in December of that year.

He asked that Taylor’s “cruel treatment” statement be changed to “irretrievable broken bond.”

Shumpert also said that Taylor provided no proof that he ever treated her in a way that made her feel unsafe.

The two were married in October of 2016 and have two daughters together.

Their divorce was intended to remain private, with Taylor sharing a post in 2023 about how upset she was.

“It is very heartbreaking that someone would take out the time to make such a private matter public for the world to see,” she wrote.

“However, protecting my family is one thing I’ve ALWAYS done & for my children I will continue to do so.”
