Indie App Spotlight: ‘Focii’ is a clutter-free task management app with timers and more – 9to5Mac
SHARE

Welcome to Indie App Spotlight. This is a weekly 9to5Mac series where we showcase the latest apps in the indie app world. If you’re a developer and would like your app featured, get in contact.

There are a lot of apps to help you manage your tasks on the market, but Focii is a special one. With its ultra minimal interface, there’s no noise to interrupt the most important part of the ideation process: actually jotting down the idea without forgetting it.

Top features

At its core, Focii is exactly what you’d expect from a task manager. When creating tasks, you can add a due date, priority level, category, and subtasks.

Once you have all of your tasks, Focii really comes into play. Categories really help break down what work you have to do, and there’s also a toggle to only show tasks that are due today. That means that if you’re someone who writes a lot of things in advance, you won’t need to parse through a bunch of forward looking tasks to find what’s relevant for today.

With priorities, you can also rank your tasks within a category. There’s also a nifty little feature to set a timer for tasks and subtasks, keeping you on task for a longer period of time.

Lastly, you can also set up recurring tasks within Focii, just for things you need to do regularly.

Download the app

Focii is available for free on the App Store for devices running iOS 17.4 and later. For the full experience, Focii Premium will run you $1.99/month or $12.99/year.
