Insta360 CEO Liu Jingkang revealed in a post on Chinese social platform Weibo that on Chinese New Year’s Eve (Jan.28), the company offered a RMB 2,500 ($349) reward to male employees who confessed to female colleagues and started a relationship, while female employees who confessed to male colleagues received RMB 5,000 ($697) regardless of the outcome. Liu responded to netizens questioning the authenticity of the initiative in the comment section, stating that around 20 female employees confessed that night.
