The European hosting and cloud supplier Ionos has reached an agreement with The digital certification company and automated life cycle of certificates Sectigo to become your exclusive partner in digital certification.. In this way, Sectigo will be in charge of offering security solutions to more than 6 million ion clients.

Thanks to the collaboration between both companies, Ionos and its network of 10 international brands will have a centralized and prepared platform for the complete management of the certificate’s life cycle. In addition, the company’s brands, among which are Strato, Arsys, Fasts and Home.PL, will be able to count on the advanced SSL/TLS, EIDAS and S/MIME of Sectigo certificates.

The collaboration also allows ion customers to access digital certificate solutions through a unified API. All this simplifies the implementation of certificates, as well as the generation of Yu reports for customers, in addition to guaranteeing scale safety.

Google’s next measure in terms of certificate implies that their life cycles will be 90 days, further reducing their validity after several previous sales, forcing them to renew every three months to improve digital safety. Therefore, the Association of Ionos with Sectigo focuses on facilitating its management, and avoiding the risks associated with interruptions and infractions associated with having expired certificates.

Digital certificates are responsible for encrypting confidential data, protecting them from cyber attacks and guaranteeing that the websites that have them are reliable and authentic. Therefore, they allow companies to comply with industry regulations and, in the face of customers, ensure that they protect personal information.

Achim Weiss, CEO de Ionoshe pointed out that «Certificates are the backbone of safe online interactions, especially for SMEs that browse the current digital economy. Technical excellence and uniquely sectigo reliability are perfectly aligned with our mission of facilitating companies with higher digital safety solutions. Together we are strengthening the ability of our clients to prosper in an increasingly connected world«.

By Sectigo, Su CEO, Kevin Weissstressed that «This collaboration represents a shared vision to foster digital confidence on a global scale. Together, we are establishing a new standard for safe, fluid and scalable digital solutions«.
