Black Friday week has arrived and deals are flying everywhere. With so many deals about, it can be difficult to know what you want let alone where to start.
We’ve created this guide of the areas you should focus on before you delve deep into the depths of Black Friday. It’ll help in terms of making the sales event clearer, and also what you can expect. The reality doesn’t always allign with the hype that many retailers and brands are pitching.
If you’re still struggling, well, I’m here to help. As TV and Audio editor at Trusted Reviews, I get to see and review in the flesh a number of TVs through in-person events and our testing rooms.
I’ve selected five TVs that I think you should be keeping an eye out for during the Black Friday TV sales. I’ve not gone for specific sizes to give you some leeway, but these are all TVs that I think are worthy of your money and time.
Philips OLED760

Philips five-star OLED is down to its lowest price
This five-star OLED from Philips is down to its lowest price, and comes with Ambilight technology that’s not available on any other TV
View Deal
Philips didn’t launch as many OLED TVs in 2025 as it has done in previous years, but the OLED760 is a cracker, and despite it’s entry-level pricing, it still holds up as one of the best OLED TVs in 2025.
This deal sees the 55-inch version fall from £999 to £899, which in the grand scheme of things is a modest 10% drip in price, but 55-inch OLED TVs under £1000 are in rare supply, and if you’ve been thinking about getting an OLED, at this price it’s had to say no.
It’s not as bright or as advanced as more expensive OLED TVs, some of which feature on this list, but it delivers excellent picture quality. Bright, rich in colour and revealing in detail, if you’re a film fan you’ll enjoy the images the Philips conjures up.
The Titan OS interface offers all the apps you’ll need to make it an enjoyable movie night, while Freely provides access to UK catch-up apps. Gamers get access to VRR and 4K/120Hz for a speedy performance across game consoles and PCs.
This is a dynamite deal for a five-star TV. Of all the Black Friday TV deals, this is up there with the best.
Panasonic Z90B

Save £200 on the Panasonic Z90B
Everyone will be recommending LG or Samsung OLEDs, but for us, the Panasonic Z90B is easily one of the best OLED screens of 2025. Excellent picture across all sources, very good sound, high spec features, and the apps and smarts you might want with Fire TV
View Deal
The Z90B is personally my favourite TV of 2025. Panasonic has always been excellent in delivering images as the fimmaker intended, and this OLED is another high benchmark. For film enthusiasts this is the TV I’d most recommend.
The Z90B does deliver the flashiest of images, but if you want to be transported to the cinema screen (with the lights down), this TV is capable of achieving exactly that. With Freely support, there’s access to the UK catch-up apps and Fire TV offers subscription apps and home smarts.
But it’s a very good gaming TV as well, delivering fast input lag and features that help in optimising the TV’s performance across a range of games. With support of up to 144Hz refresh rates, there’s plenty for console and PC gamers to feast on.
The sound quality is also a reason why I’m recommending this. It’s one of the best-sounding TVs of 2025, so good that you’ll be convinced in not needing an additional soundbar. That means you won’t need to fork out more money for a sound system (unless you already have one).
TCL C7K

Save £120 on the 55-inch TCL C7K
This 55-inch Mini-LED from TCL was already affordable to begin with, and with £120 off, it’s available for less than £600
View Deal
I must confess that we’ve reviewed the 97-inch C7K, not the 55-inch model, but given the 98-inch C7K scored five-stars we’d expect a similar appraisal for the 55-inch model.
And with it down to less than £600, it’s hard to ignore this Mini LED, especially if you’re upgrading from a budget model you bought several years ago.
It offers strong contrast, bright and rich colours and black levels that hold up despite the extreme brightness that this TV can rack up. If you watch TV in a room with lots of ambient light, this will be able to stand up to most of the reflections and lights in a room.
Gaming is similarly impressive with fast input lag and refresh rate support up to 144Hz. If you want a TV that can double up as a gaming monitor, that’s another reason to plump for the C7K. For the money, this TV offers tremendous performance.
LG C5 OLED

Save £300 on the LG 42-inch C5 OLED
LG’s smallest screen size in its C5 series has fallen to £799, making it a great price for a gamer or film fan looking for a small screen TV to go into their home
View Deal
Perhaps you don’t want a big screen in your home or don’t have space for one. This 42-inch LG OLED will fill that space, especially if you’re big on films, TV or gaming.
This is the lowest price I’ve seen the 42-inch C5 go for, which also means that it’s a deal that will attract a lot of interest.
Like the other models here, it’s got all the high spec gaming features you’d expect, although in the case of the LG, all four of its HDMI inputs support ALLM, VRR, and 4K/144Hz, so you can plug as many gaming consoles and PCs (well, four) into this TV as you like.
For its size, it’s brighter than most TVs that are 55-inches in size; which helps with watching films and TV. Its picture performance is very good, it’s upscaling is excellent, handy if you don’t watch much 4K content; and it sounds decent too, good enough that a soundbar isn’t an absolute must.
Hisense U7Q Pro

Five-star Hisense TV is down to £899
When the Hisense U7Q Pro first went on sale, it was priced at £1799. For Black Friday it can be had for £899
View Deal
Hisense has had a strong 2025, and the U7Q Pro was one of our favourite TVs of the year, scoring five-stars.
We reviewed the 65-inch model, which was £1799 at launch and has fallen to £899 in time for Black Friday. Like the TCL C7K, it’s bright, colours are vivid and punchy and black levels impress. It offers that look that’ll make TV and films pop off the screen.
It comes with Freely support (unlike the TCL) and delivers strong gaming support whether you play on console or PC with refresh rates up to 165Hz.
This is a strong all-round TV, and something of a bargain at this price.
