Every week, Netflix unveils a bunch of new content for subscribers to stream. Watching all of it would take you more time than you have, so I start my weekend by picking three top items for the next seven days. This week sees the new Noah Baumbach comedy with George Clooney and Adam Sandler, plus a delinquent dating show, animated Tomb Raider, and more.

Jay Kelly (Dec. 5)
Is there an actor in the modern world as confounding as Adam Sandler? He makes both brilliant movies and terribly stupid ones, and seems just as happy doing either one. In Noah Baumbach’s Jay Kelly, which snagged a Golden Lion nomination at Venice this year, Sandler is the manager of the titular actor (played by George Clooney), and when the pair head off for a trip across Europe, things get emotionally complex and uncomfortable in numerous ways.
Badly In Love (Dec. 9)
Dating shows are a dime a dozen, but there’s a certain charm to Netflix’s new entry, Badly In Love. Featuring a cast of 11 “yankiis” (ex-juvenile delinquents) looking for affection and redemption, it’s produced by former bad boy MEGUMI, who aims to show people an unfiltered look at Japanese youth. Trapped in a mansion up in the mountains for 14 days, they’ll butt heads and form bonds in front of your eyes.

Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft: Season 2 (Dec. 11)
One of the most popular video game heroines of all time returns for a second season of adventure. Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft isn’t an all-time great, but it’s anchored by solid voice performances, cool retro-styled animation, and some nice additions to the series lore. The new season will send Lara journeying all over the globe in a race with a megalomaniacal technocrat to collect lost artifacts.
