Klipsch has made an appearance at CES 2026 this year, and amongst its announcements of some very snazzy-looking amps and speakers, there’s something very exciting indeed. Returning to the best headphone space, Klipsch has brought three pairs of cans to Las Vegas to give us an idea of what the future holds.

It’s been a while since the brand has given us any headphones, so these concepts are extremely exciting. There are two wired “audiophile” models, and then a wireless model. They’re called the Atlus series — and I’m excited to see how they perform.

Information is thin on the ground, but we know that we’ll get them around summertime in the U.S. These are the Atlus HP-1, and they’re the wireless member of the family for listening on the go. Expect performance and features similar to the Sony WH-1000XM6 and the Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones.

There’s plans for spatial audio and other features, but no news around battery life or other features. We’ll learn more closer to the time — for now, know only that I think they look cool. I want a pair.

Wired for your pleasure

These are the two wired headphones announced by Klipsch, and they look particularly delectable. The cheaper of the two is called the HP-2, and it’s a closed-back headphone that’ll give you more bass. There’s nothing about how much power you’ll need to drive them, but I’d hope they’ll sound plenty good out of a dongle attached to your phone.

The higher-end HP-3, on the other hand, might be a bit more demanding. They’re an open-backed pair of headphones for a wider soundstage, and they feature more padding for a more ‘luxurious’ experience. Again, nothing about frequency response or their power requirements, but I am told that the packaging can double as a headphone stand.

Which is pretty cool.

All three headphone models are expected to land in the summer, although there’s no news about the prices. Let’s hope they’re relatively affordable.
