TL;DR: Digitize your old film and slides with the Kodak Slide N Scan Film and Slide Scanner on sale for $165.

Old film and slide collections are hard to enjoy if they are trapped in boxes and you no longer own a projector. The Kodak Slide N Scan Film and Slide Scanner converts those archives into digital images you can view, store, and share. Right now, you can pick up one of these easy-to-use scanners for $164.97 (reg. $189.99).

The Slide N Scan works as a standalone scanner with a built-in 5-inch LCD screen. You load 35mm, 110, or 126 film, or standard slides, into the supplied adapters and quick-feed trays, preview each frame on the display, then save to an SD card. A 14 megapixel image sensor captures each shot, with an option to interpolate up to 22 megapixels when you want larger files. On-screen controls allow basic adjustments such as color tuning and rotation before you save.

Use the USB or HDMI ports to hook the scanner to a computer for file transfer or a TV for slideshows. The package includes adapters for common film types, a slide holder, a cleaning brush, cables, and a user guide. You only need to add an SD card.

Right now, it’s only $164.97 (reg. $189.99) to get a Kodak Slide N Scan Film and Slide Scanner.
