Lenovo has announced a major update to its line of Chromebooks for Education. A series of equipment for boost teaching and learning which will be presented at the Bett UK 2026 conference, from January 21 to 23, where Lenovo will interact with global educators on the future of educational technology, AI literacy, security, durability or repairability of devices.

Lenovo Education Chromebooks
Lenovo Chromebook 100e Gen 5. A robust and lightweight device for primary and secondary school students equipped with the Intel N150 processor or the MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor. It has a 11.6″ or 12.2-inch diagonal touch or non-touch screen. With an innovative new design, this Chromebook is built to withstand the rigors of student life. It features an upgraded 50Wh battery and optimized Wi-Fi 7 and 4G LTE connectivity that allows students to continue learning even when unplugged. With additional ports, including two USB-C ports, you’re ready to connect peripherals to complete your drive.
Like the rest of Lenovo’s Education Chromebook offering, it offers excellent repairability and maintainability thanks to its customer replaceable components (CRU), plus Lenovo durability and MIL-SPEC testing that protects it against drops, spills, and bumps.
Lenovo Chromebook 500e 2-in-1 5th Generation. Customers can choose between two touch screen sizes, 11.6″ or 12.2″, both with the same optimized chassis design as the previous one, but in a 2-in-1 format that gives it greater versatility to increase its use cases, laptop, tablet or presentation mode. It is equipped with an Intel N150 or N250 processor, or a MediaTek Kompanio 540 processor. Since learning on the go is a standard feature, this device is resistant to accidental bumps, drops, and spills, thanks to MIL-SPEC testing.
Includes a new USI 2.0 stylus to take full advantage of your touch screen. It offers better grip, allows natural interaction with the screen and stores safely when not in use. Other added features improve the user experience, such as two USB-C ports, greater ease of maintenance with CRU components and faster connectivity with Wi-Fi 7. The 50 Wh battery promises up to 16 hours of autonomy.
Lenovo Chromebook Plus. Lenovo offers two models with screen size of 14 or 15 inches. They are equipped with Intel’s latest generation Core 3 N355 processor or a Core i3. With a starting weight of 1.4 kg and an all-day battery life, the ‘Plus’ variants of Lenovo Chromebooks for Education offer the productivity and portability needed by teachers, administrators and students.
Lenovo Chromebooks for Education will be available in select markets worldwide in the first half of 2026.
