The Error Detection And Correction “EDAC” driver improvements were merged earlier this week for the ongoing Linux 6.17 merge window and with that comes a number of Intel hardware platforms now being supported.

The EDAC subsystem for dealing with memory controller error detection and related tasks saw a number of new Intel processors/platforms being supported with the new code in Linux 6.17. There is now EDAC driver support covering Granite Rapids D, Wildcat Lake, and Raptor Lake HX. The Granite Rapids D SoC EDAC support is tacked onto the i10nm driver, the Wildcat Lake SoC support went into the iGen6 driver, and Raptor Lake HX within the ie31200_edac driver.

Also added into the ie31200_edac driver is Bartlett Lake support. The Intel Core i5 14600 and Core i7 14700 also saw support added to that EDAC driver.

More details on the other minor EDAC changes for Linux 6.17 can be found via this pull request.
