EVERY new iPhone comes packed with freebies that you shouldn’t ignore – or they’ll expire.

They could save you loads of money each year, and if that wasn’t enough, there’s a second clever Apple trick to save even more money.

And it’s perfect timing, with the iPhone 17 release date potentially just weeks away.

IPHONE FREEBIE #1 – APPLE MUSIC

If you buy a new iPhone, you’re able to claim three months of Apple Music for free.

That’s Apple’s music streaming subscription – it’s the iPhone maker’s Spotify rival.

You can claim the deal as long as you haven’t subscribed to Apple Music before.

But it only works if you claim the freebie with the first 90 days after setting up your device.

Just head into the Apple Music app and the freebie should be there waiting for you.

But be warned: it’ll automatically renew at the full £10.99 price after the free trial ends.

Value: £32.97

IPHONE FREEBIE #2 – APPLE TV+

Another iPhone freebie is Apple TV+, which would normally cost you £8.99 a month.

If you’ve bought a new iPhone, you can get three months of the Netflix rival.

It’s a popular streaming service with loads of top content, including Ted Lasso, Severance, The Morning Show, and Silo.

You’ll need to bag the freebie within the first three months of setting up your mobile

But you can share it as part of your Family group, as long as none of you are current Apple TV+ subscribers.

You can find the offer inside the Apple TV app on your iPhone.

IPHONE FREEBIE #3 – APPLE ARCADE

Next up is Apple Arcade, which is another freebie available for iPhone owners.

Again, you’ll need to claim this within the first three months of setting up your device.

And the deal isn’t available if you’re a current Apple Arcade subscriber.

Apple Arcade is a bit like Netflix but for computer games.

It gives you access to a vast library of more than 200 games, all of which are free from ads and micro-transactions.

The service is packed with high-quality and exclusive games, including options for kits. And you can play them on iPad or Apple TV if you prefer.

Normally Apple Arcade costs £6.99 a month, but the iPhone perk gets you three months for free.

Value: £20.97

IPHONE FREEBIE #4 – APPLE NEWS+

The final freebie worth taking a look at is Apple News+.

This is a premium news subscription that gets you access to lots of magazines and newspapers through a single subscription.

Usually you’d have to pay £12.99 a month for Apple News+, but buying a new iPhone means you’ll get three months of membership for free.

The offer is only available to new Apple News+ subscribers, so it won’t work if you’ve had the service before.

Value: £38.97

That brings the total value of the four freebies to £119.88, if you’re able to claim them all.

TRICK TO SAVE EVEN MORE

Once you’re done with the free trials, take a look at Apple One…

Apple One is a way to bundle your Apple subscriptions together to save money.

If you were already going to be paying for them anyway then the savings can be huge.

The Individual plan costs £18.95 a month and includes:

  • iCloud+ (50GB)
  • Apple TV+
  • Apple Music
  • Apple Arcade

It means you’d save £9 a month (or £108 a year) versus paying for them all individually.

The Family plan costs £24.95 a month and gets you:

  • iCloud+ (200GB)
  • Apple TV+
  • Apple Music
  • Apple Arcade

That’ll save you £11 a month (or £132 a year) versus buying each subscription individually.

And the Premier plan comes in at £36.95 per month, getting you:

  • iCloud+ (2TB)
  • Apple TV+
  • Apple Music
  • Apple Arcade
  • Apple Fitness+
  • Apple News+

This bundle saves you £27.99 a month, which works out at a whopping £335.88 a year.
