February heralds the arrival of several big video games, delivering excellent titles to scratch your entertainment itch across mobile, PC, PlayStation 5, Switch, Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. The month’s offerings include many notable releases, including Square Enix’s Dragon Quest VII remake, Koei Tecmo’s sword-swinging Nioh 3, and Capcom’s zombie-blasting Resident Evil Requiem. Dragon Quest VII Reimagined

  • Platforms: PC, PS5, Switch, Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S

  • Release Date: February 5, 2026

  • Rating: E10

Square Enix invites you to revisit a classic RPG. This ground-up remake of Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past features a diorama-style aesthetic, fully voice-acted dialogue, a streamlined story, and rebalanced gameplay.


Nioh 3

The latest chapter in Team Ninja’s action-RPG series follows a young warrior, Tokugawa Takechiyo, robbed of his claim to the Japanese Shogunate. Ripped from his world by supernatural forces, he embarks on a time-traveling journey to overcome the evil corrupting key historical periods. Nioh 3 introduces an ambitious open-world setting and a dual combat system that lets you shift between the classic samurai fighting style and a new ninja style.


Mario Tennis Fever

Mario Tennis Fever delivers a fresh Mario Tennis experience on Nintendo Switch 2. It enhances the series’ fighting game-esque mechanics with the Fever Racket system, where each racket has unique effects you can activate once you build your meter. Test your mettle online, or hone your skills solo in Adventure mode.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties

  • Release Date: February 12, 2026

Dive into the dark, campy, and sometimes bizarre world of Japanese crime in Yakuza 3. This dual-game collection features a complete remake of the original Yakuza 3, with new beat-’em-up mechanics and graphics overhauled to fit the Kiwami series’ modern style. It also comes with Dark Ties, a new prequel campaign.

Reanimal is a co-op horror game from Tarsier Studios, the creators of the Little Nightmare series. In it, two siblings solve puzzles to save their missing friends trapped on a hellish, monster-haunted island.

Styx: Blades of Greed

Styx, the titular goblin assassin, returns for another stealth-action outing. Sneak through expansive environments, including dark fantasy-style cities and soaring airships, on your quest to snatch a magical resource called Quartz. Blades of Greed is exclusively single-player this time (unlike its predecessor), allowing for a larger, more cohesive world.

Ys X: Proud Nordics

  • Release Date: Feb 20, 2026

  • Rating: T

Ys X: Proud Nordics is an enhanced, definitive edition of Falcom’s action-RPG, Ys X: Nordics. You play as series protagonist Adol Christin, as he explores the fantastical Obelia Gulf. Explore islands, engage in naval combat, and battle undying monsters called Griegr in energetic combat. Proud Nordics adds new story elements, quests, and areas, as well as a challenging time-trial dungeon called Muspelheim.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer

Burn rubber in a futuristic Japan with Tokyo Xtreme Racer, which pits you against a rival driver in a 1-on-1 race. The racing game features more than 200 rival drivers, a vast, interconnected city, and rich vehicle customization, including licensed Japanese models. It launched on PC in early access in 2025 and is set to launch officially on PS5 this month.

Return to Racoon City’s ruins 30 years after the events of Resident Evil 2. Requiem features a dual-protagonist structure, where you control the combat-proficient, fan-favorite veteran Leon Kennedy and the introverted and inexperienced Grace Ashcroft. Both are investigating a string of murders within the Wrenwood Hotel, a condemned building within the ruins of Racoon City.

Tales of Berseria Remastered

  • Platforms: PC, PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S

  • Release Date: February 27, 2026

  • Rating: T

In this remastered action-RPG, you play as Velvet Crowe, a vengeful warrior seeking retribution against the man who betrayed her and her family. Assemble a cast of eccentric heroes, vanquish monsters in combo-heavy combat, and sate your revenge. This remaster doesn’t add new content, but bundles all DLC and adds quality-of-life improvements like autosaves and battle retries.
